Emplas has launched EVA, the G15 Fabricator of the Year’s new online and ‘real world’ lead generation and sales support tool.
EVA – the Emplas Virtual Assistant – brings all of the learning Emplas has gained through its G12 and G14 winning retail business T&K into a new and comprehensive online and ‘real world’ marketing support package.
Accessed through a unique user ID and login, Emplas customers can tap into lead generation support from website creation, Search Engine Optimisation, telesales, e-marketing and pay per click and quotation software to registration with trade and consumer bodies.
Installers can opt in to support from a ‘real world’ assistant and support team, available online or at the end of a phone line, offering dedicated lead generation support. This includes following up on sales opportunities generated by Emplas’ online lead generation activity, uploading prospect details to a ‘Your Leads’ area for leads to be appointed.
“EVA gives any Emplas customer, regardless of their size, access to the kind of retail lead generation tools employed by only the very largest installation businesses”, explained John Leary, Managing Director, T&K Home Improvements.
He continued: “It’s built on our experience with T&K, what’s worked and what hasn’t. What we’re doing through Emplas, is sharing that learning so that Emplas customers don’t waste money and more importantly have the opportunity to tap in to proven and what we know are highly effective sales tools and techniques.”
The website design and build option again taps into T&Ks expertise, drawing on a choice of three templated designs based on T&K’s own website. Featuring five standard pages, it includes support to create content and develop bespoke banner imagery.
“We also make all of our pay per click and SEO experience and resource available to our customers. In the last two weeks alone the T&K website has delivered more than 60 enquiries, while we have developed customised and automated quote pack software, which is again available to Emplas customers convert leads into hard sales”, added John.
The EVA Instant Online Price Builder represents another key platform feature. Pre-loaded with customer discounts, it allows installers to simply drag and drop a slider to change prices based on the margin that they want to apply across a diverse range of products, making price calculation easy.
It also even gives installers the scope to add additional items or remove others, to create a ‘personalised’ price list based on what they actually sell.
EVA also features an interface with the Emplas Customer Portal, which allows installers to place and track orders 24/7 as they progress through Emplas’ bar-coded factory production and delivery system.
T&K’s carefully crafted marketing strategy means that last year it achieved an average lead conversion ratio of 56.3% based on 998 sales out of 1,773 appointments, with 25 leads still currently live.
“It’s been a learning curve”, continued John, “we didn’t just achieve this kind of hit rate overnight, and we spent a lot of money, sometimes getting it wrong.
“What Emplas can now offer is access to really very finely tuned retail marketing support from a website to SEO and direct marketing campaigns, plus someone to answer the calls that this activity generates. It’s an incredibly strong offer and one which is proven to deliver results.”
