Emplas named G-Awards Fabricator of the Year
Emplas has been named Fabricator of the Year at the G-Awards 2025 – the third time in a decade that it’s claimed the top award.
Held at the Hilton Park Lane, London at the end of November, the G-Awards are a celebration of achievement and innovation in the window and door industry.
Emplas claimed the highly contested Fabricator of the Year Award, fighting off stiff competition from many of the industry’s top manufacturers.
Collecting the award, Emplas’ Group Managing Director, Ryan Johnson, paid tribute to the Emplas team, its customers and supply partners.
He said: “This award is testimony to the hard work of the whole Emplas team. We are incredibly lucky in that we employ some of the industry’s most knowledgeable, passionate and committed people and that’s something which translates into the service we deliver to our customers.
“I would also like to say thank you to our customers for their continued support and loyalty and to our suppliers.
“For Emplas it’s always been about partnership and that’s true even more so now than ever, between us as an employer and our people, our customers and our supply chain. We believe that working in partnership with all three means that everyone benefits – we want to develop our people, grow our business and support our customers in their growth too.”
Having won the Fabricator of the Year title in 2015 and 2021, it represents the third time in ten years that Emplas has scooped the top award.

The accolade comes hot on the heels of another award win, after Emplas claimed the BIG Business of the Year award at the Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards, also held last month.
Judges at both awards recognised Emplas’ commitment to innovation, sustainability and continuing investment.
In its latest effort to reduce its carbon footprint, 1558 new solar panels have been installed on the roof of its 57,000ft2 Wellingborough manufacturing hub, bringing total solar capacity to 613,000 kWh and saving 159 tonnes of CO2 per annum.
This is on top of the launch of a unique closed-loop recycling service in partnership with the Epwin Group collecting and recycling 29,657 frames and 552 tonnes of offcuts over the last 12 months , as well as putting in place a post-consumer glass recycling programme with Saint-Gobain Glass.
Emplas has significantly invested in its manufacturing facilities including a second dedicated door facility now offering three composite door products and a new fire door range.
Emplas has also continued the development of its own customer CRM and digital business management tool, EVA CRM, and launched new customer lead generation initiatives including its consumer platform, Snug, and the Commercial Window Group.
Ryan continued: “Trading conditions have perhaps been generally tougher this year than everyone expected them to be but despite economic headwinds, we’ve remained on track and continued to invest for sustained growth.
“Going into 2026, that puts us and our customers in a good place to take advantage of improving market conditions from next year.”
