Emplas has been listed as one of Northamptonshire’s leading privately owned companies for the second year in succession.
The 11th Northamptonshire Limited Report ranks Emplas’ parent group as one of the region’s top 40 businesses in a list of Northamptonshire’s 100 leading privately-owned companies.
The listing also cites Emplas in the top 50 of Northamptonshire’s fastest growing businesses.
Ryan Johnson, Managing Director, Emplas Group, said: “Despite high inflation and ultimately a tough market, we continued to build on the growth that we saw in 2022 into 2023, and have ambitious plans going forward into 2024.
“Our listing as one of the regions fastest growing companies is testimony to the hard work of our team here, and ultimately our customers who remain its foundation.
“We remain privately owned and investment-led an approach which means that we have been able to, and will continue to build, for the long term.”
Emplas increased its turnover in 2022/23 by 25%, directing revenue streams into a multi-million-pound IT and operational investment programme.
This includes the expansion of its fabrication facility with the addition of 25,000sq ft of manufacturing space to house new product lines, offices and warehousing.
The trade fabricator also launched allocated two-hour delivery slots, plus a 30-minute push notification on arrival of deliveries – something which is giving its customers time back to run their business rather than wait for deliveries
Ryan continued: “We’ve made some big investments in our facility and our product ranges, which we’ll follow-up with further investment in 2024.
“We want to set new standards and expectations in trade window and door supply, growing in partnership with our customers, supply partners and our people.”
