Niamh's Next Step (NNS)
Emplas is a family-owned business, and from our humble beginnings we have maintained our family values at the heart of everything we do. Join us as we support Niamh’s Next Step (NNS), a charity dedicated to the memory of Niamh Curry who lost her battle against Nueroblastoma in 2012 at the age of five.
Neuroblastoma is a rare childhood cancer that affects around 100 children in the UK each year. It usually affects children under the age of five, and can occur before a child is born. NNS was set up in 2013 to raise money to help raise awareness of Neuroblastoma, fund research into the condition and support children and families affected by this cruel disease.
The 2024 'Emplas Open' - dedicated to NNS
This year we dedicated our 2024 ‘Emplas Open’ golf tournament to Niamh and her family.
On June 6th 2024, Emplas welcomed 75 guests to Hanbury Manor in Hertfordshire, who, during a challenging round of golf and subsequent gala evening, raised a magnificent £13,465 for NNS.
We would like to thank all of our customers and suppliers who supported the day’s events and this deserving cause.
Thanks also to Niamh’s father, Chris Curry who founded NNS and also joined us on the day to help raise awareness of Neuroblastoma and the work of his team.
Don’t wait – get involved
